As a Maintenance Team Leader at Parc Adfer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the site operates safely and efficiently. You’ll lead a team of talented technicians, driving high performance and maintaining the facility to the highest standards. What Will You Be Doing? As a Maintenance Team Leader, you’ll assist the Maintenance Manager in organising and managing maintenance activities across the site. Your primary goal will be to ensure maximum plant availability and performance, all within approved budgets. You’ll collaborate closely with both internal operations and external support teams. While standard working hours apply, flexibility will be needed to meet operational demands. This role will work in line with the on-call rota. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a talented team of technicians in conducting preventative and reactive maintenance to keep the plant operating efficiently. Oversee and distribute maintenance planning and tasks Use the site CMMS system to prioritise tasks based on safety, environmental impact, and plant reliability. Ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained to the highest level, promoting a strong safety culture. Strictly follow and enforce site safety rules, including PTW, LOTO, RAMS, and authorization procedures, ensuring plant maintenance aligns with regulatory and safety guidelines. Promptly investigate and address accidents or near misses with the management team to eliminate risks and improve safety practices. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and contribute to maintaining a safe and effective working environment. Oversee the receipting process of the maintenance team, to ensure all PO’s are invoice correctly and efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: HNC/HND level or higher in an Engineering discipline, such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Control and Instrumentation. Experience in Energy from Waste or other heavy industrial sectors is advantageous. Hands-on experience combined with strong analytical abilities. A Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH) would be beneficial.
