Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead our on-site residential M&E team.
* Responsibilities:
* • Lead and supervise a team of on-site engineers, supporting performance, training, and development
* • Oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
* • Coordinate daily operations with the Helpdesk team to ensure timely response to service requests
* • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, Safe Systems of Work, and Permit to Work procedures
* • Carry out routine audits to maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and documentation
* • Manage subcontractors and specialist suppliers, from scheduling to quality assurance and safety checks
Requirements
* Qualifications:
* • HND or NVQ or equivalent in a relevant subject
* • Extensive practical experience in building services and plant engineering with formal qualifications and relevant experience within a defined discipline, e.g. electrical, mechanical or similar.
* • Previous appointment as Authorised Person for one or more of the following disciplines, LV, Mechanical Services, Confined Spaces, Boiler and Pressure Systems or similar
* • Experience working within or around World Heritage Listed properties, buildings and environments
* • Excellent communications both written and verbal.
* • Numerate and computer literate.
* • Previous experience of managing a team of engineers
