We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading Mechanical Services contractor that’s growing fast and looking to bring fresh talent into their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical trade background (HVAC, plumbing, fire, etc.) who’s ready to transition into a junior project management role.

The Role:
This Junior Project Engineer position is ideal for someone hands-on, organised, and looking for long-term growth. You’ll work closely with senior project managers, assisting with the coordination of site activities, suppliers, and subcontractors. This role offers real career development and a pathway into full project management over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of mechanical services projects
Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Track project progress, timelines, and variations
Assist with technical documentation, safety compliance, and reporting
Read and interpret mechanical services drawings
Attend site meetings and contribute to issue resolutionWho We’re Looking For:
Trade-qualified or site-experienced in mechanical services (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, fire)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable reading construction drawings
Motivated to grow into a project management role
Computer literate (Microsoft Office essential; AutoCAD or project software experience a plus)
