To provide high-quality medical care to registered and temporary patients in a primary care setting, managing a personal caseload and working professionally in line with Wombwell Medical Centre policies.Key Duties & Responsibilities Deliver effective medical care in line with the GMS contract Safely prescribe according to local and national guidelines Manage long-term conditions and process referrals and prescriptions promptly Maintain accurate clinical records Share workload fairly with the practice team Follow clinical guidelines and participate in audits and quality improvement. Support practice meetings, clinical governance, and training activities Comply with appraisal and revalidation requirements Engage in ongoing professional development and support GP registrar training Promote teamwork and continuous improvement across the practice Participate in local initiatives and incident reviews as neededConfidentiality Handle all patient and practice information with strict confidentiality, following data protection policiesProfessional Development & Quality Participate in performance reviews and training Take responsibility for own learning and contribute to team improvements Manage time and resources efficientlyCommunication & Teamwork Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues Adapt communication to meet individual needs Work collaboratively within the team and with external partners
