As a Night Care Worker with CrossReach, you will play a vital role in supporting older people when it matters most. During the quieter hours, your presence will bring comfort, reassurance and dignity, helping residents feel safe, valued and at ease throughout the night.

What Your Night Could Involve

1. Providing attentive, wakeful night cover and responding promptly to individual needs
2. Supporting with personal and intimate care, mobility and comfort
3. Promoting wellbeing through calm reassurance and meaningful interaction
4. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and security within the home
5. Liaising with health professionals and completing accurate care records

About You
You are caring, compassionate and reliable, with a calm and reassuring approach. You treat everyone with dignity and respect and understand the importance of creating a peaceful environment. You have a Christian faith and feel comfortable working within and supporting our Christian ethos.

Ideally, you will hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care, or be willing to work towards this with our support. You will also need basic computer skills, SSSC registration and PVG Scheme membership.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
