Location: Nottinghamshire
Pay: £95 – £120 per day (Depending on Experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Data Manager to support a forward-thinking school in Nottinghamshire. This is a brilliant opportunity for an analytical, organised professional to play a key role in ensuring smooth data operations that directly support student success.
Data Manager Responsibilities:
* Manage student data across school information systems (SIMS/Arbour or similar).
* Maintain accurate records, attendance logs, assessments, reports, and timetables.
* Produce data analysis, summaries, and reports for senior leaders and teachers.
* Ensure compliance with GDPR and uphold strict data security standards.
* Support staff with data-related queries and provide system guidance when needed.
* Monitor deadlines for submissions, census returns, and statutory reporting.
* Work collaboratively with the admin and leadership teams to streamline processes.
Data Manager Requirements:
* Previous experience working with school data systems (SIMS, Arbour, Romcom, etc.)
* Strong IT skills, especially in Excel and data handling.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational efficiency.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Clear communication skills and confidence supporting staff members.
* Understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding, and GDPR responsibilities.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
