Job Description
Neudata is embarking on the development of a major new product. With a product manager and a technical lead in place, we are looking for a technical product manager to help bring this product to market.
This role serves as a critical connecting link between the product manager and the development team. Commercial direction and product/market alignment sit with the product manager. Technical decisions sit with the development team. The technical product manager owns the space in between.
Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain the product backlog and release schedule
* Work with the product manager and the development team to estimate, refine and break down features ready for development
* Perform detailed analysis of features to facilitate effective and rapid knowledge sharing with the development team
* Oversee the development of features to ensure that the dev team has the detail they need and that the implementation is correct and complete
* Act as an authoritative source of information about the detailed functionality of the product for internal consumption (e.g. training others, performing demos, testing new releases, identifying and raising issues)
Who we are looking for
* You should have at least 2 years experience in a related role
* Familiarity with agile methodologies gained through project experience
* Agile estimation, prioritisation and release planning
* Building and maintaining a product backlog
* Ability to write great user stories
* Knowledge of how financial institutions source and use external data (e.g. market, reference, economic etc) would be an advantage
