Job Description
3. Deliver planned maintenance and stock investment programmes (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, windows, roofs, decorations).
4. Manage projects using asset management software and mobile technology.
5. Certify contractor valuations and manage interim and final accounts.
6. Conduct quality inspections at various project stages.
7. Collaborate with Resident Liaison Officers to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Prepare schedules of work, variations, and contract documentation.
9. Provide technical and contractual advice, including contract administration.
10. Ensure health and safety compliance and participate in out-of-hours rota.
11. Maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
12. Promote value for money, service efficiency, and team performance.
13. Support continuous improvement and challenge existing practices.
14. Role-model leadership behaviours and coach colleagues.
15. Comply with internal policies, procedures, and data protection standards.
16. Demonstrate professionalism and alignment with organisational values.
The Successful Applicant
17. Holds a professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline or has substantial experience.
18. Strong knowledge of domestic property maintenance and quality control systems.
19. Proficient in mobile working technology and Microsoft Office applications.
20. Minimum two years' experience delivering major works in housing (social or private).
21. Skilled in managing long-term supplier contracts and full project lifecycle.
22. Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction and manage valuations/accounts.
23. Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
24. Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building abilities.
25. Confident enforcing compliance and working under pressure.
26. Holds a full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
27. Demonstrates integrity, resilience, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
28. Open to feedback, embraces change, and supports continuous improvement.
29. Comfortable working flexibly, including outside core hours when needed.
