Revenues Processing Officer

Fixed Term – 6 Month Contract: 20hrs per week

Grade 3 - £27,410pa to £30,293pa

Petersfield

We have a vacancy for a Revenues Processing Officer. The main purpose of the role will be to process documentation relating to Council Tax & Business ratepayers accounts.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

* Provide administrative and clerical support as part of a team responsible for the billing and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates.
* Ensure accounts are amended accurately and at the earliest opportunity
* Answer correspondence fully and in a timely manner

Essential Skills and Attributes:

* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Experience of using Civica Open Revenues system and Document Management/ workflow systems would be an advantage.

Security vetting and checks:

* If you are successful, you will need to comply with the government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard Verification process, this includes a basic criminal record check which will identify any ''unspent" convictions. If you are unable to meet these requirements your offer may be revoked.

Experience of using Civica Open Revenues system and Document Management/ workflow systems would be an advantage.

To be successful at shortlisting you will need to very clearly state how you meet the essential criteria listed in the role profile.

Starting salary will be dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
