This role will be responsible for ensuring that employees comply with Safety, Health and Environmental Legislation and supporting policies and procedure are adopted and adhered to.
The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement and will help develop a cultural change in the mindset of all employees while ensuring a pragmatic approach to support the business needs.
Role responsibilities:
* Champion and support the roadmap to achieve the campus Safety, Health and Environment vision.
* Provide day to day guidance ensuring all applicable SHE requirements are considered and implemented in line with current Legislation including COSHH/risk assessments, LOLER, Occupational Health, PUWER and fire safety etc.
* Management of assigned SHE incident reporting /investigation and ensuring the effective close out in a prompt manner.
* Maintain and continuously improve the SHE procedures to ensure robust processes are in place.
* Support with maintaining the ISO14001 certification ensuring the scope is reviewed to include the wider campus as it grows and support with the auditing process.
* Supporting in implementation of controls and relevant improvements to minimise risks.
Requirements for the role:
* Relevant professional qualifications in Safety, Health, and Environment management.
* Previous experience in a similar role within either F1, Motorsport or the Automotive industry.
* Commitment to continuous improvement.
* Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Competent user of Microsoft programmes and Safety management software.
