AI Assistant Consultant – Tax Technology
Base Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation are made up of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, Multi-disciplinary Engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal.
This business has 2500+ tax & legal professionals covering multiple disciplines. We serve many thousands of clients and private individuals by providing a modern, market-leading suite of technology solutions that provide an efficient digital experience from routine to complex tax advice.

As part of KPMG’s $5bn investment in technology over five years, you will play a key leadership role in helping both our clients and our internal teams harness the power of technological advances, particularly in artificial intelligence, to better manage tax obligations and drive business value.
What will you be doing?
As an AI Assistant Consultant in Tax Technology you will play a key role in supporting project delivery, engaging with clients, and promoting technology adoption within the team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and innovation to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in the tax industry..
In this role you will:
1. Assist in the delivery of tax technology projects, particularly those involving AI and automation.
2. Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and client teams to ensure project milestones are met.
3. Support the preparation of project documentation, status reports, and presentations.
4. Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand their needs and contribute to solution design.
5. Assist in the implementation and rollout of new technology solutions for clients.
6. Provide training and support to clients as they adopt new tools and processes.
7. Help promote the use of AI and innovative technologies within the tax team.
What will you need to do it?
8. Experience supporting internal and external client technology implementation projects
9. Demonstrable Interest in AI and emerging technologies
10. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
11. Analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem solving
12. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
13. Whilst Tax experience is not essential an Accounting or tax qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CTA or equivalent would be beneficial
14. Experience contributing in the end to end sales of Technology Solutions
