The role..
We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Agency and Client Lead – Sales & Partnerships to join ITV Commercial on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Agency & Client GS&P Controller, you will lead the agency OpCo strategy and portfolio, with accountability for selected priority clients and overall revenue growth across your designated agency patch.
This is a senior-facing, strategic role requiring strong leadership, relationship management and commercial acumen. You will be responsible for shaping agency and client contact strategy, driving TAR revenue across sponsorship, bespoke partnerships, ITVX, YouTube, AdLabs and airtime, and influencing internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, revenue-generating solutions. Acting as a senior representative of ITV Commercial, you’ll work upstream with agencies and clients to identify opportunities, unlock growth and ensure ITV’s full commercial proposition is positioned effectively.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the agency OpCo strategy, including ownership of selected priority client accounts
2. Strengthening and expanding senior relationships across agencies and client organisations
3. Driving TAR revenue growth across sponsorship, partnerships, digital and airtime solutions
4. Collaborating with Sales & Partnerships Managers to maximise customer engagement and revenue performance
5. Shaping and implementing agency contact strategies in partnership with Client Strategy & Planning teams
6. Developing proactive, insight-led proposals, including in the absence of a formal brief
7. Creating commercial frameworks and partnership models that deliver incremental revenue
8. Owning revenue reporting, KPIs and financial oversight for your agency patch, including regular OpCo reviews
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)...
9. Proven experience leading agency strategy and taking ownership of a commercial portfolio
10. Demonstrated success representing a media organisation at senior agency and client level
11. Strong track record delivering high-value partnerships end-to-end, from pitch through to execution
12. Extensive knowledge of the UK media landscape and commercial ecosystem
