We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Neuro-developmental team (NDT) in Bedfordshire CAMHS services. This post is suitable for individuals at the start or early stage of their career, including those qualifying in Autumn 2025. It offers a preceptorship pathway from Agenda for Change Band 7 to 8a.
A preceptorship is available for newly qualified and early career Clinical Psychologists to support their transition to Band 8a after 18 months in the role. A Psychologist starting at Band 7 will need to reduce to the lower FTE upon progressing to Band 8a. The initial contract is fixed-term for 18 months, changing to a permanent 8a contract upon successful completion of the preceptorship.
Our team values creative, innovative, and evidence-based approaches and fosters a supportive and reflective work environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Psychologist with experience working with children and young people diagnosed with Autism and Intellectual Disability.
