The Opportunity

Children Not Numbers, an NGO dedicated to supporting children surviving the horrors of war, is seeking a Fundraising Manager to help grow our community fundraising and regional partnerships. * Proven experience in building relationships with diverse audiences to achieve financial targets.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to inspire and motivate supporters.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* A firm understanding of KPIs, targets, budgeting, and risk management.
* Curiosity and data-driven thinking to provide insights and analysis, identifying opportunities for growth.
* A creative mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
* Identify, develop, and manage supporter relationships with businesses, fundraising groups, and high-value donors across your geographic area.
* Understand supporter motivations and work across CNN to inspire and engage them, helping them to reach their fundraising potential.
* Steward corporate prospects using a structured pipeline process, converting opportunities into support.
* Be proactive in identifying fundraising opportunities and raising awareness of CNN.
* Effectively manage supporters using a CRM system to ensure excellent stewardship and meet financial targets.
* Provide monthly financial reports and implement mitigation plans for any shortfalls.
* Promote our activities and campaigns to drive awareness and income.

Working Arrangements
This role is home-based, regular travel within the UK may be required and you will need to attend periodic meetings in London with the directors. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle will be beneficial. Flexible working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, will be necessary to support key fundraising activities, with time off in lieu provided.
Interview Process
The interview process will be conducted in two stages. The first stage will be a video interview via MS Teams, followed by a second stage in-person interview.
