About the Role As a Caretaker, you'll work independently or as part of a team to provide essential estate services. You'll be a key point of contact for residents, addressing their concerns and maintaining communal areas to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Estate Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean communal areas and ensure outdoor spaces are free of litter and detritus. Remove graffiti promptly and control weed growth. Resident Interaction: Build positive relationships with tenants, providing advice and support, especially for vulnerable groups. Address and escalate complaints and tenancy issues as needed. Emergency Response & Repairs: Handle emergencies such as fire, flooding, or burglary during working hours. Perform minor repairs in communal areas in line with health and safety standards. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and daily activities. Report issues like abandoned vehicles, tenancy violations, or damage to the appropriate teams. Team Collaboration: Work in paired arrangements with colleagues for leave coverage and ensure cleaning frequencies are met. What We're Looking For: A full UK driving licence is essential.
