Our client is a well-established independent firm within Norwich. They work with a range of clients from owner-managed businesses to SMEs and Private clients. They are looking to grow their accounts team through recruiting an Accounts Manager.
Responsibilities
As an Accounts Manager, you will…
* Manage a diverse client portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, acting as the main point of contact for clients
* Plan, review and oversee accounts work, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard
* Prepare annual accounts and draft corporation tax computations for review, with involvement in ad-hoc work such as management accounts and forecasts
* Supervise and develop junior team members, providing training, guidance and regular feedback to support their progression
* Collaborate closely with managers and partners, managing WIP, quoting and invoicing fees and contributing to the firm’s wider goals and value
Requirements
As an Accounts Manager, you will need…
* ACA or ACCA full qualification
* Experience within a senior accounts position in a practice environment
* Working knowledge of accounting software including Sage, QuickBooks Online and Xero
* Experience supporting the development of team members, including providing guidance and reviewing work
