About The Role As the Service Lead - Business Support, you will be responsible for: Leading and managing the Business Support Team, ensuring the effective delivery of business support services across the organisation. Working collaboratively with other service leads to identify and implement improvements in service delivery and efficiency. Overseeing the management of business support requests, ensuring timely and appropriate responses. Providing expert advice and guidance on business support processes and best practices. Line managing a small number of direct reports, including the Service Lead - Customer Services and the Service Lead - ICT. You will be a key point of contact for business support enquiries, working closely with senior managers and elected members to provide administrative support and facilitate effective communication. About You The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: Extensive experience in a business support role within a public sector environment. Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels. Good knowledge of business support processes, including administration, customer service, and IT.
