Franchise Marketing Executive Head Office with occasional nursery visits or business meetings Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm/ Friday - 9am - 4pm £32k - £37k per annum (Depending on Experience) Overview The Local Marketing Executive is part of our vibrant marketing team. We love collaborative working, creative thinking and together we are invested in making a difference for the business and the various customers we serve. We generate high-quality enquiries across the business - supporting occupancy in our nurseries with B2C marketing, attracting prospective franchisees through B2B marketing, and engaging talented individuals to join our nursery settings and Head Office teams in collaboration with the recruitment team. This role is responsible for all marketing related to our Franchised nursery network and sits alongside our Marketing Manager who oversees both Franchise and Nursery Group Marketing, as well as our Nursery Group Marketing Executive who looks after our owned and operated nurseries, all reporting into the Head of Marketing. Collectively, we are responsible for ensuring brand consistency across our network of nurseries. Key Responsibilities Be the ‘go to’ person for our franchise network for marketing advice and support.Being one of the key people to a new franchisee within the network for site visits, and marketing support. Create and manage the marketing launch plan of new franchise nurseries from build phase to opening, driving enquiries that allow the nurseries to achieve their opening targets. Brief priorities and monitor digital marketing performance in building awareness and driving nursery enquiries and franchise leads through our digital marketing agency (PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Digital PR). Plan, launch and continuously optimise paid campaigns within Meta Ads Manager to effectively reach local audiences and drive high-quality enquiries. Provide fortnightly updates on the impact of new nursery marketing activity to the wider HO team, in pipeline meetings, and monthly reports to the marketing team. Also support them with regular site visits, and throughout the build phase. Attend marketing meetings, virtually and face to face, with franchisees to present the marketing plan for their nursery and maintain contact throughout marketing campaigns delivered. Assist with the general preparation for nursery launch events and attend as required. Co-ordinating photography and virtual tours as needed. Manage marketing requests that come through from head office stakeholders and the nursery network onto Trello (workflow management) board e.g Design of marketing communications, website updates etc. Manage the job items through to delivery in partnership with our marketing agency and head office team. Promote and support the rollout to the network of national marketing campaign activity throughout the year. Contribute to the creation of social media content to deliver against the social media strategy and provide training and support to our nursery teams to develop nursery capability in managing their own social channels. Relay information back to the wider marketing team, to help with artwork or website designs, if needed, to ensure actions are met. Support the Franchise team in improving our CRM activity to convert leads to franchisees. Assist on the franchisee discovery & onboarding process, working closely with the franchise team to onboard new franchisees. Be a brand champion, understanding brand creative guidelines and ensure all marketing communications align, which brings consistency and quality control to the brand experience and our nurseries. Assist with marketing reporting by collecting, analysing, and summarising insight and data from various sources for weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Continually check and report on local competitor marketing activity, building the market-place picture and influences on our business performance. Assist when required with internal communications and events and work with our Head Office Charity partner. Work with our PR agency to ensure monthly articles are relevant and involve the HO team and wider network if necessary. Manage Business Listings Software (currently Reputation and Day Nurseries), ensuring the multi-location platforms are accurate and details are updated when needed. Ensuring all reviews are responded to in ample time – working with nursery manager/franchisee, EY team and SLT if required. Use of workflow management technology (e.g. Trello, Monday.com) Other duties may be required from time to time. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise The ideal person: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally across multiple locations or sites. Strong knowledge and interest in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, including planning, launching and optimising paid campaigns to reach local audiences and drive enquiries. Confident in creating engaging content using platforms such as Canva, with a good understanding of what resonates with local audiences. Excellent people skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships with franchisees, and nursery managers whilst collaborating effectively across teams. Comfortable taking ownership of marketing initiatives, providing clear guidance and ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard across multiple sites. Strong copywriting, proofreading, and attention to detail. Willingness and capability to travel when required to nurseries. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Strong communicator, confident working with internal teams, franchisees and external partners. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and deadlines. A proactive problem solver with a positive, solutions-focused mindset. Detail-oriented, with a strong eye for consistency and quality across all outputs.
