The Role in a nutshell ️ As a Supplier Management Specialist at Sustainable Energy First, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient supplier interactions within the Energy Services team. You’ll be responsible for resolving invoice queries within agreed SLAs, coordinating escalations, and maintaining clear communication between internal teams and suppliers. By staying informed on industry updates and supplier process changes, you’ll help maintain compliance and operational efficiency. You’ll also support the planning and documentation of supplier KPI meetings and workshops, while building strong relationships that enable effective negotiation and service delivery. Your contribution will directly impact the quality of service we provide to customers and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment. More info Efficiently manage and resolve supplier invoice queries within defined SLAs, escalating issues where necessary to ensure timely completion. Support the coordination of escalated issues by tracking progress and maintaining communication between internal teams and suppliers. Stay informed of basic industry updates and supplier process changes, applying new knowledge under guidance to maintain compliance and efficiency. Assist in the preparation and scheduling of supplier KPI meetings, workshops, and clinics, ensuring agendas and minutes are accurately recorded. Build positive working relationships with suppliers, supporting negotiations through accurate data and clear communication to meet business expectations. Requirements General energy industry knowledge and understanding of internal processes. Your core knowledge and experience will be essential in order to support team members on a day-to-day basis. Organised with excellent attention to detail. You need to be a self-starter, be able to work independently, and be in control. This will be needed to plan, track, progress and deliver. Collaboration and communication. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers to resolve escalations effectively and efficiently. Inquisitive and a problem solver. Good investigation and research, this is essential in order to build industry knowledge, investigate complaints, or look into complicated problems that need resolving.
