About the Role
This is a pivotal role where you will play a key role in:
* Reducing persistent absence and improving student attendance
* Supporting the re-engagement into education for vulnerable students
* Designing and delivering targeted interventions in collaboration with families and professionals
* Support students on mainstream sites as well as at our Nurture hub
* Model excellent practice
* Share resources to share with Mainstream schools and families

We are seeking a confident and compassionate professional with:
* Proven experience working with young people with complex SEMH needs
* A strong understanding of safeguarding, attendance frameworks and inclusive education strategies
* Excellent communication and partnership building skills

This post is for 30 - 35 hours per week (negotiable), 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 staff development days) and is offered on Kent Scheme E (KR7) (£27,852 - £29,716 per annum). Actual salary will be dependent upon number of hours worked. The successful postholder will be required to start at 8.30am and work their hours over 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
