IMultiply is delighted to be working exclusively on a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established professional services firm in Glasgow. This is a key role within a small, supportive finance team, offering stability, flexibility, and the chance to work in a respected organisation.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently, supporting compliance with industry regulations, and assisting with day-to-day finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consistency and wants to contribute to the smooth running of a busy practice without the pressure of rapid career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Process incoming and outgoing payments.
* Post fee notes and maintain client ledgers.
* Assist with banking and reconciliations.
* Prepare and manage supplier payments.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting rules (training provided if required).
The Person
* Previous experience in an accounts assistant or cashier role within professional services.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
* Comfortable with routine tasks and maintaining consistency.
* Knowledge of Law Society of Scotland rules is an advantage (training available).
On Offer
* Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 DOE.
* 35-hour work week.
* Hybrid working after probation (3 days home, 2 days office).
* Flexible start times post-probation.
