We’re Hiring: Leadership Development Manager Based at: Old Unicorn Brewery, Stockport (with travel across our pub estate, UPC and UB) What’s the role? We’re looking for a passionate, people-first leader to shape how we grow and develop talent across Robinsons. As our Leadership Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in building confident, capable leaders across our pubs, UPC, Brewery and support teams ensuring our people are equipped to lead effectively and grow their teams capability across the business. You’ll design and deliver leadership development that reflects who we are, proud of our heritage, focused on our future, and always doing the right thing. You’ll be getting involved in: Building future leaders Designing and delivering leadership programmes that develop capability from first-time managers through to senior leaders Creating clear development pathways to support career progression across the business Supporting succession planning by identifying and developing future General Managers Developing great managers Delivering engaging workshops, coaching and development interventions across the estate Supporting managers to build confidence in people leadership, performance and operational excellence Working closely with pub teams to ensure learning is practical, relevant and impactful Embedding leadership standards Defining and embedding what great leadership looks like at Robinsons Supporting consistency of leadership behaviours across our pubs and teams Acting as a trusted partner to operational leaders, helping them build high-performing teams Driving impact and improvement Measuring the effectiveness of development programmes through data and feedback Using insight to continuously improve learning and development approaches Linking development to performance, progression and business outcomes Working as one team Partnering closely with the wider People Team and operational leaders Aligning development with onboarding, performance and career pathways Sharing insight from the estate to shape people strategy and continuous improvement What you’ll bring Must-haves: Experience designing and delivering leadership or management development programmes Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities Commercial awareness—understanding how great leadership drives business performance Willingness to travel across the estate with a full UK driving License Nice-to-haves: Experience within hospitality, retail or a multi-site environment Experience building career pathways or succession programmes Experience with LMS or digital learning platforms CIPD, L&D or coaching qualification (or working towards) Experience supporting apprenticeships or early careers
