Caereinion Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Dispenser to join our friendly pharmacy team on a full-time basis.
You must have an NVQ2 in Dispensing/Pharmacy Services (or equivalent), excellent communication and people skills, good IT skills, and a healthcare background.
Main duties of the job
* Be responsible for dispensing and checking all medicines dispensed, safely and accurately, in line with dispensary procedures.
* Maintain stock levels within the dispensary and order from suppliers as needed.
* Receive and store supplies in accordance with current policy.
* Ensure controlled drugs are dispensed in accordance with practice policy.
* Safely dispose of returned and/or out-of-date medicines.
* Ensure all repeat prescriptions are processed promptly and in accordance with SOP.
* Process prescription requests via email, phone, fax, face-to-face, and online.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
* Maintain accurate records, read coding entries appropriately.

* GCSE (or equivalent) English & Maths at Grade C or above
