Your Role as Business Sector Manager
As the Business Sector Manager, you will be the driving force behind our relationships with key Vendors. You'll lead a team of Business Managers, Business Development Managers, and Internal Product Specialists to support the sales of our Vendor Portfolio. Are you ready to make an impact?
What Will You Be Doing?
Vendor Side Responsibilities
* Sales:
o Meet and exceed revenue and margin targets for your Vendor lines.
o Communicate Arrow ECS's strategic objectives and how they align with Vendor goals.
o Maximize fulfillment business opportunities.
o Negotiate favorable commercial terms with Vendors.
o Own reporting on Vendor performance, including forecasting and tracking.
* Development:
o Collaborate with Vendor Partner Managers to create impactful Vendor Business Development Plans.
o Validate sales forecasts with each Vendor.
o Assist in identifying and recruiting new Vendors and Partners.
* Plan & Review:
o Understand Vendor business strategies and financial performance.
o Manage Soft Margin Programs to maximize profitability.
o Conduct monthly business reviews with Vendors to track performance metrics.
* Relationships:
o Position Arrow ECS as a trusted advisor to Vendor decision-makers.
o Engage with all levels within the Vendor organization.
Arrow Side Responsibilities
* Management:
o Lead and mentor a team of Business Managers to execute business plans.
o Conduct ongoing performance management and identify development opportunities.
o Set sales targets and monitor team activities for efficiency.
* Sales:
o Support your team in achieving revenue and margin targets.
* Development:
o Work closely with your team to create Vendor Business Development Plans.
o Collaborate with the marketing division for strategic input.
* Plan & Review:
o Conduct monthly reviews to ensure performance metrics are on track.
* Relationships:
o Leverage knowledge of Vendor offerings to maximize sales.
