As we support major energy and infrastructure projects, we are seeking an experienced EIA Coordinator at a senior level or senior associate.
Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of energy and infrastructure projects, advising clients throughout the development lifecycle.
* Manage EIA screening and scoping processes, and prepare Environmental Statements, reviewing technical input and other environmental and planning‑related reports.
* Lead environmental teams, overseeing Environmental Impact Assessments and the preparation of environmental and planning‑related reports.
* Work with senior members of our leadership team to develop client relationships and support the development of more junior team members.
* Contribute to single and multi‑disciplinary proposal bids and the financial management of project work.
* Support the delivery of a broad range of environmental planning work streams, delivering integrated environmental services.
About You
* Strong environmental planning experience (EIA), preferably within the energy sector, and be either chartered or working towards chartership.
* Broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines, working knowledge of different consenting regimes and development management procedures (Town and Country Planning, Planning Act, Hybrid Bill, etc). DCO experience is a plus.
* Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams, track record in financial management of projects and excellent communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to manage and mentor others; competency and flexibility to meet role demands.
