, you'll work with a varied portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, VAT returns, and assisting with tax compliance. You'll be part of a close-knit team, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of sectors, while also progressing your studies and professional knowledge.

The Role
* Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax computations
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries
* Maintaining accurate records and working papers in line with practice standards
* Supporting senior staff with ad-hoc projects and assignments
* Developing knowledge of accounting software such as Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
* Managing your own workload effectively to meet deadlines
About You
* ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential
* Good accounts preparation and VAT knowledge
* Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Competent with accounting software and Microsoft Office
* A proactive attitude and a commitment to professional development
