Care Home Deputy Manager
Location: North London (N20)
Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours over five shifts)
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Care Home Deputy Manager to join their team. The care home is registered for 56 service users and provides specialist residential care for the elderly and those with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the service is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led according to CQC standards.
- Manage the staff team on shift and oversee the delivery of care to service users.
- Assist in recruitment, mentoring new staff, and managing the medication process.
- Review and monitor service quality, conduct safety checks, and facilitate social activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Health & Social Care at level 3 or above - completed.
- Proven experience in a senior role within a residential care setting, preferably as a deputy manager.
- Experience in elderly and dementia care, with knowledge of CQC standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and IT skills.
