Support Worker – Community Support at Home (Part Time 20hrs or Bank)
Location: Blidworth, Mansfield
Salary: £13.00 per hour + benefits
Hours: Part time (20 hours per week) or Bank (flexible)
Shifts: Between 9:00am – 6:00pm
About the Role
We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to join our friendly team, supporting two brothers with learning disabilities in their own home within the community in Blidworth.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and dignity, helping them live fulfilling and active lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting with daily living tasks and routines
* Encouraging independence and social inclusion
* Assisting with activities at home and within the community
* Providing a small amount of personal care, including support with getting in and out of the shower
* Building positive, trusting relationships
About You
* A compassionate and patient approach
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Comfortable providing personal care where required
* Full UK driving licence is essential
* Previous experience in care/support is desirable but not essential – we provide full training
