The Governors of this well-established caring Roman Catholic school are seeking to appoint a Sixth Form Study Supervisor.
To supervise the sixth form learning centre promoting positive study habits, and to support learning of all students but especially those who are disadvantaged..
GRADE/SALARY:Grade 3 (scale-point 4 £24,404 to scale-point 6 £25,183pa)
(pro-rata) Actual Salary £15,100 pa - £15,582pa
HOURS:27.5 hpw term-time only/38 weeks per year
9.00am – 3.00pm (30 minutes for lunch)
The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• The ability to deal with confidential matters with tact and discretion

St Peter’s R.C. High School & Sixth Form Centre is a mixed 11 – 18 school with 1500 pupils on roll. The Sixth Form consists of 330 students with KS5 students showing real leadership and progressing to a wide range of destinations, including prestigious universities and sought-after apprenticeships. 18% of our students receive Pupil Premium funding and 22% of our cohort has a special need or disability. We pride ourselves on our pastoral care and have invested in our Student Support Services who provide additional support for students with, for example, mental health issues and therefore frequently liaise with external agencies.
