We are seeking an experienced
Residential Conveyancer
to join a well-established and progressive law firm based in Grantham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to manage a varied caseload within a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for handling a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, from instruction through to completion, including:
* Managing sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build transactions
* Preparing and undertaking searches, drafting contracts, and dealing with enquiries
* Handling exchange, completion, and post-completion formalities (including SDLT, Land Registry, and Companies House requirements)
* Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal procedures
* Identifying cross-referral opportunities within other areas of the firm
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Have solid experience in residential conveyancing and managing their own caseload
* Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
* Be confident in building and maintaining client and third-party relationships
* Have strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
* Show commitment to delivering high-quality client care
* Be IT literate with knowledge of case management systems (experience with SOS Connect is an advantage)
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner
* Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process and regulations
* Previous experience with plot purchases/new build work (desirable)
