Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join our award-winning team. You will support the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care and create a safe, caring, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

* Shift Details: 19:45 - 08:00, includes alternate weekends
Location: Avery Healthcare, Knowle, B93 9LQ
Responsibilities
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident and note changes that may impact care and care plans; ensure new needs are met and records reflect any variation.
* Be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and undertaking monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Undertake staff supervisions and support staff with their development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals; respond to reasonable requests and escalate concerns or complaints as needed.
About You

* NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
