Key Responsibilities
1. Assume full financial, commercial, and strategic responsibility for the business, collaborating with the Board to drive long-term growth. Inspire, motivate, and mentor the team, maintaining the operation as an employer of choice in the community.
2. Develop and implement a long-term business plan. Oversee financial budgeting, appraisal, and reporting across various units. Manage major projects and initiatives directly.
3. Work with the Board and team to optimize performance and identify new opportunities, while upholding the business’s values and character.
4. Represent the operation externally to foster positive relationships with the community and manage stakeholders such as partners, consultants, and local authorities.
Candidate Profile
* A charismatic, inspirational, and entrepreneurial executive with a proven record of sustained growth.
* Experience in retail, hospitality, and leisure sectors is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills, self-awareness, humility, and the ability to negotiate successful outcomes with stakeholders.
* Energetic, tenacious, detail-oriented, and proactive with a positive attitude. A committed team player with excellent communication skills.
