SALARY: £35,675 - £41,308 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)
LOCATION: Oxford, Oxfordshire (OX1) – with occasional travel to other sites

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader with previous experience in Domestic Abuse as a social carer/support worker or similar working with vulnerable individuals, with good staff supervision skills.
As the Domestic Abuse Support Work Team Leader, you will join the Care and Support department to ensure the delivery, management, and development of high-quality, person-centred support to customers.
You will also be responsible for facilities management related to the building, in accordance with contract specifications, relevant procedures, and statutory obligations, enabling individuals to sustain tenancies by promoting independence, freedom, and choice.
DUTIES
Your duties will include:
* Act as Designated MARAC Officer
* Monitor and manage team caseloads, ensuring support is delivered according to support plans, group work programmes, and policies
* Monitor and report safeguarding concerns or significant changes in clients’ health and social circumstances, following policies
* Manage and support a team of employees, volunteers, and student placements, focusing on absence management, performance management, and training
* Develop understanding of service users' needs and the operating environment, keeping up-to-date with legislation and best practices to contribute to the Care & Support strategy
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Driving License essential
* Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent desirable (e.g., domestic abuse qualification)
* Experience working within Domestic Abuse essential
* Experience of MARAC processes desirable
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience of staff supervision and managing performance
* Social care experience and/or working with vulnerable customers
* Knowledge of safeguarding
* Organizational skills, including time management and target achievement
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
