About the Role
Are you ready to step into a leadership role where no two days are the same, and every day you help young people take steps toward brighter futures?
We’re looking for a Lead Generalist Tutor to join our brand-new campus, delivering and coordinating learning across entry-level programmes in Computing, Sport, Creative Design, and Motor Mechanics. You don’t need to be a qualified expert in all areas — but if you're someone who’s hands-on, versatile, and passionate about helping learners thrive, we want to hear from you.
This is a unique opportunity for someone with real-world experience, a positive outlook, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education. Whether you're a teacher looking to move away from mainstream settings, or a multi-talented professional ready to lead and inspire others, this role offers both purpose and progression.
What You’ll Do
*
Lead and support a team of tutors across 4 subject areas
*
Help develop creative, practical sessions for learners with SEMH needs
*
Plan schemes of work and lessons with a strong emphasis on engagement and accessibility
*
Deliver sessions across a variety of subjects based on your own strengths and interests
*
Manage learner induction, onboarding, and progression
*
Foster a positive, supportive learning environment for both learners and staff
*
Champion the Loving Care Approach – our trauma-informed, learner-centred ethos
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
*
Has experience leading or supporting a team (in education or industry)
*
Is confident delivering or supporting learning across multiple areas
*
May have teaching experience or a desire to move into education
*
Brings real-life knowledge — from coaching to mechanics, digital skills to design
*
Is a natural communicator and motivator
*
Understands the needs of SEMH learners and alternative provision settings
*
Is curious, compassionate, and driven to make a difference
*
Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a business-insured vehicle
Bonus If You Have:
*
Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or willingness to work towards)
*
Experience in Functional Skills or entry-level learning
*
Training in safeguarding, mental health awareness, or the Prevent Duty
