We’re looking for reliable, punctual, and hard-working team players to join our friendly refuse collection crew in Swadlincote.
In this role, you’ll play a vital part in helping the local community by working alongside the refuse lorry team, collecting household and garden waste bins.

In this role, you’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, performing manual tasks, and being on your feet throughout the shift. We have a fantastic team of loaders who take pride in their work; we expect applicants to match their dedication, reliability, and team spirit.

Responsibilities
* Join the refuse collection crew and assist in collecting household and garden waste bins.
* Work alongside the lorry team to support efficient waste collection.
* Maintain a positive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach as part of a team.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Reliable, punctual, and hard-working mindset.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Ability to perform manual tasks and stay on your feet during shifts.
* Strong team spirit and dedication to the job.
Details
* Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:00 finish around 14:30.
* Pay: £12.21 per hour, overtime after 37.5 hours per week at time and a half.
* Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year, pro rata.
* Visa Sponsorship: Not offered.
