Cygnet Healthcare is seeking a confident, experienced Senior Mental Health Support Worker passionate about delivering outstanding care to join Cygnet Hospital Oldbury.
At Cygnet Hospital Oldbury, you will work 42 hours per week, including days, nights, and weekends.
The hospital is a state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women in the West Midlands, comprising two wards: a 12-bed PICU ward and a 15-bed Acute ward. The facility has a full multidisciplinary team (MDT) supporting adults requiring rapid access to mental health services, including those in need of an intensive care environment.
Our focus is on reducing length of stay and ensuring individuals move as quickly and safely as possible to the most appropriate and least restrictive environment. Referrals come from various sources, including other acute services and prison services.

Job responsibilities
* Support management and team members in the daily operation of the service
* Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely

* Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
* Conduct supervisions with junior support workers
