Mental Health Support Worker – 2 Maternity Cover
Location: Swansea area, 2 posts available (2 maternity cover). Join Caredig as a Mental Health Support Worker.
Pay: £12.86 per hour; Double pay for Christmas Bank Holiday; Sleep-in rate: £12.21 per hour.
Hours: 2 x 35 hour per week.
Contract: 1 post ending May 2026; 1 post ending November 2026.
Closing Date: Monday 24th November 2025 at 12pm Noon.
Interview Date: Friday 12th December.
About the Role
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in our Swansea service, supporting tenants with mental health needs, some of whom are recovering from substance use. You’ll help individuals live independently and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
* Providing person-centred support in line with our values.
* Assisting tenants with daily living tasks and accommodation needs.
* Working in a psychologically informed and trauma‑aware way.
* Supporting wellbeing and safety within the service.
* Paid training will ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed as a Mental Health Support Worker.
About You

We welcome previous experience working as Customer Assistant, Hospitality, Volunteer, Care Worker, Home Care Assistant, Health Care Assistant, Home Carer, Social Care Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, Mental Health Care Worker, Complex Support Worker, Voluntary Worker, Domiciliary Care.
