Temporary Facilities Coordinator

Oldham | £13.50 per hour | Full-Time, Office-Based | Immediate Start

Our client, a well-established and successful engineering business based in Oldham, is looking to appoint a Temporary Facilities Coordinator to support the smooth, day-to-day running of their site operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with previous facilities or office management experience to join a friendly, supportive team. The role is office-based and full-time, offering free onsite parking and a potential for extension.

THE ROLE

Working closely with internal departments, vendors, and service providers, you’ll play a key role in keeping the site safe, organised, and fully operational.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinating routine building maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services

Monitoring and managing inventories of office supplies, tools, and equipment

Receiving deliveries and ensuring accurate stock tracking and allocation for engineers

Responding promptly to facilities-related issues or emergencies

Supporting office space planning and occasional internal moves

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

THE PERSON

We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, organised, and a great communicator.

The ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a facilities coordination or office support role

Strong organisational and multitasking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

A good understanding of basic building systems and operations

Confidence handling light to moderate physical tasks (e.g., lifting supplies)

Familiarity with health and safety standards (advantageous but not essential)

HOURS & BENEFITS

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
