Senior ICT & Security Design Engineer - London

We now seek a Senior ICT & Security Engineer to be based in our London office.
Role Responsibilities
* Carries out cost and profit diagnosis on projects, including feasibility studies and preparation of fee bids.
* Reviews status advised by project personnel and external parties and modifies schedules or plans as required.
* Prepares project reports for management, client or others.
* Represents the company at technical meetings with customers, professional teams and contractors.
* Supports the delivery of projects in accordance with the RED Project Delivery Process from a project management, financial management, QA/QC and technical review perspective.
* Day‑to‑day decision making on project progress and direct liaison with, and provides advice to, the client.
* Responsible for running medium‑size projects.
* Undertakes a client‑facing role in the development, design and coordination of engineering project services for ICT/Security installations, systems, equipment, facilities etc.
* Responsible for technical content and accuracy of trainees, graduates and engineers.
Role Requirements
* Engineering degree in an appropriate ICT infrastructure engineering discipline.
* At least 5–10 years of relevant employment experience.
Relevant Past Employment Examples
* IT or multi‑disciplinary consulting firm.
* ICT consultancy and project management.
* Security consultancy.
* Construction project management with a technology emphasis.
* Network technology vendor or manufacturer.
* Network systems integration contractor.
* Experience in ICT infrastructure, building ICT fit‑out migration and occupation.
Technical Understanding
* Critical Facilities / Data Centre Design.
* Campus networks.
* LAN Ethernet switching.
* Wi‑Fi network communications.
* Structured cabling systems.
* Fibre optic networks.
* Data cabling containment systems.
* Telecommunication network infrastructure and services.
