Century Club is a long-established private members' club in the heart of Soho, entering a new chapter of growth and cultural ambition. With a 650-capacity licence, multiple event and meeting spaces, and one of the area's most distinctive rooftops, the club is building a reputation as a home for independent culture, high-profile gatherings, and standout events.
We are now seeking an exceptional Head of Event Sales - a senior, commercially driven operator with deep London networks and a proven track record of closing high-value events.
This is a pivotal role. You will lead all private hire and event sales, shaping the future of Century's events business and positioning the club as a go-to Soho destination for premium, high-profile occasions.
The Role
You will own and grow Century's private events revenue (circa £3m per annum), bringing in a diverse mix of high-value business - from film premieres and wrap parties to brand launches, private celebrations, and corporate events.
You will be hands-on, well-connected, and commercially sharp - equally comfortable closing deals, nurturing long-term relationships, and representing the club at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive all private event sales and revenue growth.
* Leverage your network to introduce high-value events, agencies, brands, and production partners.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the events sales team.
* Own the full sales cycle: enquiry, proposal, negotiation, and conversion.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, brands, production companies, and VIP clients.
* Develop pricing strategies, proposals, and sales materials.
* Oversee event delivery in partnership with operations to ensure every event meets premium standards.
About You
* Senior experience in event sales within London's premium hospitality, members' clubs, or event venues.
* A strong, proven network across agencies, brands, media, film, fashion, and culture.
* A confident closer - commercially ambitious, persuasive, and results-driven.
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
* Charismatic, professional, and credible with senior clients.
* A genuine interest in culture, hospitality, and creating standout experiences.
