Company Description
Location: Penyard, Merthyr Tydfil
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Shifts: 7am-2pm, 2pm - 10pm & 10pm - 7am (you will be on a rota with all 3 shifts).
Minimum hours per week is 16, you may be working up to full time some weeks, so a level of flexibility is required.
No driving licence is needed for this role, as you will be working in one location.

Job Description
We are looking for a care assistant to join our amazing team within an extra care scheme in Merthyr Tydfil. You will be joining the team in delivering an extremely high standard of care to our service users who are living independently based in one location, meaning no travelling between calls. Our care assistants are the extraordinary people who do the everyday things that mean so much to our clients. Supporting them to live safer and supported lives in their own homes, you’ll follow individual care plans and assist with personal care, helping clients to bathe, dress, manage incontinence, use the toilet and supporting them with their medication. You’ll also help with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes and housework.
Qualifications
You don’t need any social care experience to apply for this role. We’re more interested in your compassion and ability to care. You’ll need to be resilient too and willing to learn new skills and develop your knowledge as part of a close-knit team.
