* Dealing with clients through all avenues of communication including occasional face to face meetings in order to take instructions from them, to update them on progress and to assist them in completing any documentation that we have sent to them.
* Managing key dates, monitoring progress, and assisting with exchange and completion processes.
* Supporting the solicitors with general administrative tasks, billing, and post-completion work. This would include drafting and sending standard letters on exchange, completion and other stages and also helping to assemble report bundles.
* Communicating professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
* Proactively supporting the wider team to ensure deadlines and priorities are met efficiently.
* Assisting with business development and marketing activities for the department as needed.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn legal software and case management systems.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
* Proactive, self-motivated with a solutions-focused approach.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous manner.
* Ability to work with discretion and handle confidential information appropriately.

* Health cash plan and employee assistance programme upon successful completion of probation.
* Firm sick pay policy (up to 10 working days on a rolling year basis, pro-rated for part-time staff) after probation.
* Additional holiday for long service (1 day after 5 years, another after 10 years).
