The Streetscene Manager for Denbighshire County Council is responsible for overseeing the delivery of key frontline maintenance services across the county. This includes managing public realm maintenance, safety inspections, winter maintenance, and emergency responses including out of hours and adverse weather events. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational management skills to ensure efficient service delivery within budget constraints.
The post holder will work closely with the Council’s Members, at both senior and ward levels, to manage services and experience of management large and complex partnerships is essential. The post holder will have experience of managing large environmentally related service contracts and partnerships, also delivering large change management programmes.
The post holder will be expected to participate in an emergency out of hours rota which is currently 1 week in 5 frequency, for which an additional payment is made.
