Role Overview
The Principal Program Financial Analyst (PFA) plays a critical role as a strategic partner to program management, helping to drive financial performance across multiple programs within Rapiscan, AS&E, and S2 Global. This role requires a deep understanding of program economics and profitability levers, with a focus on delivering actionable financial insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project accounting activities, including the Estimates-to-Complete (ETC) process
Prepare, analyze, and review program baselines, actuals, and Estimates-at-Completion (EAC) with detailed variance analysis
Communicate financial insights and business impacts to Finance and Management teams
Develop budgets and establish financial baselines for new revenue or R&D programs in line with company policy
Support monthly forecasting with accurate program-level sales and gross margin projections
Analyze monthly financials with a focus on gross margin accuracy
Respond to customer inquiries with relevant financial data, including actuals and expenditure profiles
Assist with month-end processes and ensure accurate financial entries via the Projects module
Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Adhere to the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct and report any quality issues to management
Qualifications & Skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex data clearly
Proactive, flexible, and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), Excel, and PowerPoint (D365 experience is essential)
Background in Finance or Accounting preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
Several years of experience in program finance/accounting, especially in ETC and EAC preparation
Solid understanding of financial costing, pricing, reporting, and invoicing; knowledge of US GAAP is a plus
