Reservationist - Kensington, London About Us The Roof Gardens were originally created in the Art Deco period and opened in 1933. In the late 60's the building was taken over by fashion powerhouse Biba and was the pulse of Swinging London. 100 ft high above Kensington High Street, set across 3 floors with over an acre of gardens, The Roof Gardens will be a next generation members club that is future-facing, committed to innovation and community, to discovery and to delight. The club will open in Summer 2024 as a world-leading members’ club affording its community beautiful gardens, bars, restaurants and events spaces alongside a visionary cultural and music programme. The Role We are looking for a Reservationist to join our busy FOH team at The Roof Gardens. In this role you will assist with all phone and email restaurant bookings and enquiries in a helpful, and courteous manner. You will be confident in communicating with members, remaining calm under pressure and with a great ability to multitask. Whether over email or on the phone you will consistently provide a positive experience for our members, always acting as an ambassador for the brand. An excellent telephone manner is a must. Key Responsibilities: Reservations & Service: Handle reservation enquiries and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring they align with The Roof Gardens standards. Strive to understand members' needs, recommend suitable restaurant spaces, exceed expectations, and foster loyalty. Oversee alterations to schedules and timings, provide accurate information to members, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of restaurant offerings. Collaborate with F&B team to maximise restaurant covers and assist in promoting venues and events to meet revenue targets. Handle feedback and complaints with care, and work with the FOH Manager to enhance the member experience and ensure adherence to payment policies. Compliance: Ensure the front of house and public areas are always kept clean and tidy and report any defaults to the relevant departments. Comply with GDPR when dealing with members personal data. Ensure you adhere to all company practice and procedures including health and safety, premises licensing and operating requirements as directed by management.
