We are seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team at a well-established secondary school in Surrey. This part-time or Full time, permanent role is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching in Food Technology.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 4.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students' creativity and skills in food preparation and nutrition.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and educational practices, with particular focus on Food Technology and Textiles or one other aspect of the DT Curriculum.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the subject and participate in school events and activities.
* Manage classroom resources and ensure a safe and tidy environment that promotes learning.
