JOB TITLE: Trading Controls Manager

LOCATION: London and Edinburgh

HOURS: Fulltime - 35 hours per week
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites in Edinburgh or London.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Owning andEnhancing theTrading ControlsOperational Risk ManagementFrameworkforthefinancial markets facingbusinesseswithinLloyds Banking Group, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.

2. LeadingRiskIdentification andAssessmentacrossTradingProductsprocessworkflows,settlementsprocesses, andinternal and external tradingplatforms, embedding robust controls andreporting.

3. Advising onRiskImplications ofNewProducts andInitiatives, partnering withfront officetrading and salesteams,MarketsOperations, Compliance, andMarkets Platform (Technology) Teams.

4. DrivingContinuousImprovementin control design, automation, and operational resilience, utilisingdata analytics and emerging technologies.

5. Monitoring andChallenging RiskTrigger Reporting, raising material issuesto Risk and Control Ownersand providing actionable insights to senior management and governance forums.

6. Championing aStrongRiskCulturewithinthe CIB CCO and LBCM,helping todelivertraining and awareness programmes to embed accountability and best practice.

7. Collaborating Globallyutilising specific experienceinUK/US /EU regulatory requirements,to ensure alignment of risk frameworks acrossjurisdictions


KEY DELIVERABLES

8. ComprehensiveRiskAssessments and RiskReporting SystemOutputsfor Marketsactivities, with documented mitigation strategies and control enhancements.

9. TimelyDelivery ofRemediation/ActionPlans
foridentifiedcontrol gaps, supported by root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.

10. Data-drivenRiskReportingandDashboardsfor senior partners and colleagues, including trend analysis and emerging risk insights.

11. Identification andImplementation ofAutomated andPreventativeControls, reducing manual intervention and operational incidents.

12. GovernanceMaterial Collation and Articulationofrisk positions, control effectiveness, and regulatory compliance status.

13. Stresstesting andScenarioAnalysistovalidateresilience under adverse market conditions.

14. Evidence ofEmbeddingRiskCulture, through training completion metrics and feedback loops.
