Mathematics Teacher – Secondary School – Tewkesbury
A secondary school in Tewkesbury is looking to appoint an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, starting April 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire students, build confidence in mathematics, and foster a love of problem-solving and analytical thinking across the secondary curriculum.
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 (M1–UPS3)
Role Overview
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching experience advantageous)
* Plan engaging lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities
* Track and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and interventions
* Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages learning
* Work collaboratively with the maths team and wider school staff to enhance outcomes
Candidate Profile
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching secondary mathematics
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* Ability to adapt teaching to support a range of learners, including high-attaining students and those requiring additional support
* Enthusiastic team player who contributes positively to the school community
