The Person
We are seeking a talented Junior Web Developer to join our small but agile Scrum team.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of a One Wales flagship web application, which will transform the digital landscape of Welsh Rugby.
The candidate will also contribute to the ongoing development of other major applications used throughout the professional and community games.
The individual will join during a period of multi-year investment to build one of the most advanced digital tools in world rugby.
Qualifications
* 1+ years’ experience as a Web Developer or similar role.
* Familiar with the following tech stack: .NET, React.
* Awareness of cloud technology, particularly AWS.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Experience working within Scrum/Agile teams.
WRU Requirements
The WRU requires individuals to be proficient in IT skills, specifically Microsoft packages. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to communicate through Welsh and a valid UK Driver's License are desirable. This role is subject to a basic/enhanced DBS check.
