We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based in Barrow-in-Furness. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly.
Duties of this role include the use of an onsite vehicle. Due to this, candidates must hold a valid UK driving licence.
Job Description
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to -
* Student Support
* Providing assistance to Campus in regards to class room set ups
* Responding to Fire Alarm activations
* Providing an onsite professional security presence
* Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
* Provide protection for customers, property and staff
* Internal and external site patrols
* Concierge duties
Applicants must be:
* First Aid trained
* Smart and presentable
* Polite and approachable
* Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
* Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
* Punctual & reliable
* Be flexible for work shifts
* Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
